You're not alone in this.

Talk with other people going through the same thing, at any time of day. Use a nickname if you'd rather stay anonymous. It's not just us you can lean on.

Have a look inside

This is our open "Ask a question" room, so you can see what it's like before you join. Members-only rooms stay private and never appear here.

Members chat in the free Discord app on phone or computer. You'll choose a nickname when you join, and nobody sees your real name, email or phone number.

What you get as a member

  • Rooms for wherever you are. Thinking about it, going through it, life after, plus rooms for dads, mums and co-parenting.
  • Stay anonymous. Pick a nickname. Your real name, email and number are never shown to anyone.
  • Divorce coaches in the room. Verified coaches drop into the "Ask a coach" room to answer questions. They're clearly badged, and they're not allowed to sell to you.
  • Small support circles. Weekly video catch-ups with eight to ten people at a similar stage.
  • Monthly live Q&As with a family solicitor, a financial adviser, a therapist or a divorce coach. Ask anonymously if you like.
  • The divorce starter pack: the checklist, documents to gather and questions to ask a solicitor.
  • Member discounts with partner mediators, divorce coaches, therapists, financial advisers and will writers.

Kept kind, kept safe

Every room is watched over by trained moderators, and anyone can report a message in two taps.

  • Members must be 18 or over.
  • Be kind. Everyone here is having a hard time.
  • Don't name your ex, your children or anyone else.
  • Never share court documents or details of court cases involving children. It's against the law.
  • Members share experiences, not legal advice. For advice about your situation, speak to a professional.

If you're struggling right now, you don't have to wait for the community. Samaritans are free, any time, on 116 123. The National Domestic Abuse Helpline is free and open 24 hours on 0808 2000 247. In an emergency, call 999.

Questions people ask

Could my ex see that I've joined?

Not unless you tell them. You choose a nickname, and your real name, email and phone number aren't shown to other members. Your payment shows on your bank statement as "divorcd".

Do I need to download anything?

The community runs on Discord, which is free. You can use the app on your phone or computer, or just use it in your web browser.

What if someone says something upsetting?

Report the message and a moderator will look at it. We remove anything that breaks the rules, and we'll remove people who don't treat others kindly.

Who are the coaches in the chat?

They're professional divorce coaches we've checked and invited. They have a "Coach" badge so you always know who's who. They're there to help, not to sell, and they'll only message you privately if you ask them to.

Can I cancel?

Yes. If you change your mind within 14 days, we'll refund you in full. After that, you can turn off renewal at any time from your membership page and keep access until your year ends.

Is this a replacement for legal advice or therapy?

No. It's a place to talk with people who understand. For advice about your own situation, we can introduce you to a vetted solicitor, mediator, divorce coach or therapist. Get matched
